Thoughtful Weeks turns your life into a grid of weeks, making the abstract concrete. Enter your birth date and see your lifetime mapped out — weeks lived, weeks ahead. A quiet prompt to be intentional about how you spend your time.

Becoming a parent changes your relationship with time. Suddenly it feels finite in a way it didn't before — not in a frightening way, but in a clarifying one. I started thinking about how many weeks I actually had, and whether I was spending them the way I wanted to.

There's a well-known idea in productivity circles — the 'life in weeks' concept popularised by Tim Urban — where you visualise your entire lifespan as a grid of small boxes, one per week. It's viscerally powerful when you see it. Weeks you've lived are filled in. The rest are empty, waiting.

I built Thoughtful Weeks as my version of that. You enter your birth date, and it generates your personal grid — no account needed, nothing stored, completely private. It's not trying to be a productivity app or a goal tracker. It's a single, quiet visual that asks one question: are you spending your weeks the way you want to?

The design is deliberately minimal. No notifications, no streaks, no gamification. Just the grid and a moment to think. Sometimes the most useful tool is the one that gets out of the way and lets you do the thinking yourself.
